I was able to watch a number of movies over the weekend. The chick flick fan in me struck again so I settled on watching “The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2” at Trinoma. With whom? with the only person I can tag along with me that can endure the agony of sitting inside a movie house for 2 straight hours watching a chick flick movie without a single word of criticism. Naiyak ako, promise. Hahaha!

Since I already finished the koreanovela (Three Daddy and One Mom) I’m watching, I decided to just watch Wall-E and Maid of Honor last Sunday at home instead. I was just wondering, can anyone tell me where can I find a Wall-E kind of guy? Not the robotic type ha?! lol.

Attention to Ayz, I’m still waiting for my copy of “It Started with A Kiss 2”. I forgot to remind you when we were in Baguio. My brothers are going to kill me na, they cant watch TV whenever I take home koreanovela DVDs. Hahaha!

I’m going to Tagaytay! Alan is inviting me to go with them on Wednesday. I’m going to see my goddaughter, Ash, again. I heard she’s getting cuter and cuter everyday. Yehey! Can’t wait.

Gym sounds like a lot of fun. Uh well. I really need it now, I guess I’m sure. I’m planning to enroll next week. Still have to check my budget, though. Wait, does that mean I have to buy gym clothes and a new pair of rubber shoes? The one that I currently have is already worn out and I think it will only last for 3 sessions or less. Uh-oh, this costs much more than I imagine it to be. *think, think, think*

I’m chatting with jeck right now. Was informed of his hazy plan to abandon his current blog and all I can say is: Same old, same old. I understand you, bro. If that act will help you with whatever it is that you’re feeling right now, then why not? You can always start a new one. And knowing you, you definitely will. I really wish you well.

Question:
Are HR persons required to put on their ‘game faces’ the whole day? I mean do they have this unwritten rule of not talking to everyone around? Are they really required to look intimidating? Just curious.

Baguio Hangover

Parang concert lang ng eraserheads.

Until now I still can’t get over the fact that I’ve been to Baguio for 4 straight days and actually had lots of fun.

I’ve been wanting to go to Baguio months ago. And it’s just last week that it finally pushed through. Needless to say I have a more valid reason why I wanted to go there. The trip definitely served its purpose for me.

I’ve been very vocal on how I appreciate the friends that I have now. And I must say that I appreciate them even more after the so called trip. “What Happens in Baguio, stays in Baguio” as they say.

There are still a lot of reasons to be happy about. And I’ve decided to just let go.

I’m very thankful for the persons who appreciated me for who I am.

I apologize to those who never fail to be there for me, but then was brushed off by my being obstinate.

Moving on is tricky but it definitely sounds good.

Happy Birthday!

Ilang taon ka na nga ulit? Ang laki mo na. Dati binabatuk-batukan at pinapaiyak lang kita, ngayon ikaw na bumabatok sakin at nagpapaiyak. Sorry dun sa mga batok at pagpapaiyak ko sayo nun ha?! Oo trip lang yon, alam mo naman na nagseselos ako dahil alam ko na favorite ka ni mommy. Pero okay na sakin yun ngayon, naiintindihan ko na. Hindi na naman siguro kaila sayo na favorite na rin kita.

Oo, ikaw na bumabatok at nagpapaiyak sakin ngayon pero hindi dahil sa trip mo lang—dahil sa mga katangahan at kagagahan ko. Kahit na mas matanda ako sayo, mas mature kang mag-isip kaysa sakin. At dahil dun napapaiyak mo ko. Naalala mo ba dati nung nakita mo kong umiiyak? Tin-ry ko pang itago kasi baka masira ang moment ko, akala ko aasarin mo ko at pagtatawanan—tulad ng lagi mong ginagawa. Pero nagkamali ako. Nilapitan mo ko at tinanong kung bakit. Habang hinihintay mo ko matapos sa paghikbi at pagsasalita at the same time ay pinupunasan mo yung luha ko sa pisngi at sinabihan mo ko na “okay lang yan, wag ka na umiyak”. Lalo akong naiyak, para akong bata na inagawan ng candy na nagsusumbong sa tatay. I cannot imagine how you’ve made me feel so secured that time. Salamat sa effort mo na patawanin ako, ang-corny mo nun. Hindi ako natawa pero natuwa ako—dahil alam kong kahit anong mangyari sakin lagi ka lang nandyan at hinding hindi mo ko iiwanan.

Yung tawag mo sakin? Alam mo bang nagwawala ako pag naririnig ko yun galing sa ibang tao? Ikaw lang talaga ang pwedeng tumawag nun sakin ng hindi ako na-o-offend. Parang feeling ko “I love you” ang sinasabi mo sakin pag naririnig ko yun from you.

Kung iisa-isahin ko lahat ng reason kung bakit ako humahanga sayo at kung bakit ako grateful dahil ikaw ang naging kapatid ko, baka maging nobela na to. Basta one thing’s for sure, whatever happens nandito lang si ate for you. I’ll always pray for you and your safety. Always be happy and enjoy your day!

We celebrated his birthday 2 days in advance because we will not be able to do so on a weekday.

This is his favorite cake, and believe it or not isang upuan lang sa kanya to. LOL

Why do people coordinate red with birthdays?

I asked a Chinese colleague about it. She told me that red is considered the happiest color. That’s why they make it a point to wear red during birthdays. If I’m not mistaken this applies also in Japanese traditions, and according to them it brings good health, vitality and long life.

Today is “Wash day Friday”. At dahil sa nalalapit na Baguio trip namin, nahirapan ako mag-isip kung ano ang isusuot ko. Ayoko na namang isuot yung mga naka-plano nang mga damit na dadalhin ko kaya… Naka-red ako ngayon.. At lahat sila binabati ako ng “Happy Birthday”.

Pwede kayang magkaron ng good health, vitality and long life pag naka-red ka pero hindi mo naman birthday?

Pag nag red ako araw-araw, magiging masaya kaya ako?

Lagi akong nakakakita ng ganyan pero hindi ko pinapansin. Madalas sa mga email, blogs, messages, etc. Akala ko pampa-arte lang yon, design or pwedeng partition lang or something.

Maniwala ka man o hindi lately ko lang nalaman kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng XOXO. At take note, sa kapatid ko pang lalake. At dahil kapatid ko sya ay hindi ako naniwala sa kanya kaya naman I had to double-check it with someone (which is lalake pa rin), the conversation goes like this:

Ako: Alam mo ba kung ano ibig sabihin ng XOXO?

Guy friend: Oo naman!

Ako: Ano nga?

Guy friend: Hugs and Kisses!

Ako: Sigurado ka?

Guy friend: Oo naman. Ang tagal tagal na nun e. Hindi mo alam?

Ako: *with yabang* Alam ko!


Kelan pa naging hugs ang X at kisses ang O???

Yan ang bilang ng extension cords na magkakadugtong ngayon dito sa opisina namin. Bakit? Dahil brownout. Oo nagbbrown out din sa Makati. At oo, wala kaming emergency chuvaness kung ano man ang tawag dun. For some reason e sa pantry lang namin may kuryente. Kaya naman ginawa namin ang lahat ng aming makakaya para lang makahagilap ng extension cords na makikita namin na isasaksak sa natitirang 2 socket na nakapagbigay sa amin ng pag-asa from a possible pagkabagot.

At take note, sa nasabing 5 extension cords ay 2 ang may tag-anim na sockets at yung tatlo naman ay may tag-aapat. Imagine-in mo lahat yon may nakasaksak, puro computer. San ka pa? Hindi na ko magtataka pa pag maya maya ay may maaamoy na kong parang nasusunog o may bigla na lang sumabog dito. Naku wag naman sana, mamaya na lang pag-uwi ko. LOL! Joke lang.

15 minutes na lang uuwi na ko, ang tagal ng oras. Kanina pa walang kuryente simula pa lunch break. Kanina pa rin kami nag-ga-gaguhan dito sa opisina habang nakikinig sa mga kanta ng eheads. Haaayyy, eheads… Naalala ko na naman.. Oo, ako ay kasalukuyang may hangover pa rin from last week’s concert.

Ayan 5 minutes na lang. Tapos na rin sa wakas ang 5 oras na pag petiks.

Uwi na ko.

Change of Heart

From the very beginning I’m firm with my decision of just staying here.

But now that opportunity is just around the corner I’m thinking of giving it a try.

I don’t exactly know what made me change my mind all I know is if this thing pushes through I’m off to a very far place in just a few months.

It is way out of my comfort zone, I know. But I’m feeling good about this at the moment. If I’m not going to do it now then when?

What’s with the sudden gutsiness? I don’t know either. But I guess it’s much better this way.

I’ll not disclose any information this early yet. Mahirap na baka mausog.

Grabe na talaga ang nagagawa ng mga commercial ngayon ano?

This happened just this morning:

Pampoy: *admin staff 1’s name here* penge naman ako ng gamot. Sama ng pakiramdam ko eh.

Admin Staff 1: O sige po. (stood up and took the medicine box)

Pampoy: Ano bang pinaka-effective na gamot para sa sakit ng katawan, sakit ng ulo, sipon saka ubo?

Admin Staff 1: Ay hindi ko po alam.

Pampoy: (while looking at the "few" contents of the medicine box) Pwede na ba yung neozep?

Admin staff 2: Naku wag yun, sabi ng mga duktor na hindi naman daw talaga nakakapagpawala ng sipon ang neozep, nakakapagpatuyo lang so mas masama yon.

Pampoy: Ganon? O e ano na lang?

Admin Staff 2: Wala namang gamot na makakapagpawala ng sangkatutak na sakit mo.

Pampoy: Kahit yung sa sakit ng katawan na lang. Sama talaga ng pakiramdam ko e. Ano nga?

Admin Staff 2: Ano pa? E di yung gamot na pwedeng inumin kahit walang laman ang tyan.

Pampoy: ahhhmmm… Sige, penge ng Biogesic.

Natawa talaga ako. Parang binabayaran lang sya ng Unilab para i-endorse ang Biogesic.

Okay na sana kaso nga lang hindi naman nya kamukha si John Lloyd.
